Raw Greenz is a combination of 100% organically grown Wheat grass, Barley grass and Alfalfa grass.

All 3 of these powerhouse grasses are harvested at peak growing periods for full nutritional content. They are then dried at room temperature to then be meshed into powder for easier ingestion. Through this process is the only way to retain the extensive spectrum of minerals, vitamins, antioxidants, enzymes and amino acids.

A modern diet can cause our bodies to be acidic. A typical western diet for many people consists of up to 90% acid forming foods and drinks. ALFALFA

For thousands of years across the world in such places as China, Iraq, Australia, America, India and Turkey and more. The name Alfalfa comes from the Arabian al-fac-facah, for “father of all foods”.

Alfalfa (Medicago Sativa) has been ingested by humans. It is through this time we have learnt about its outstanding effects it has to our overall health.

Alfalfa is rich in chlorophyll, protein, amino acids, B vitamins, Vitamin C E and K, calcium, magnesium, zinc and iron. In addition to its high nutritional value, alfalfa has a good protein content (18.9%), containing eight essential amino acids. Properties and/or actions generally attributed to alfalfa include anti-arthritic, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, anodyne (meaning relieves pain), antipyretic (meaning reduces fever), detoxifier, diuretic, laxative, nutritive, phytoestrogenic (meaning chemicals produced by plants that act like estrogens in animal cells and bodies), digestive and tonic.*Please note – due to the high level of Vitamin K contained in Alfalfa, this product may not be suitable for people who are taking blood thinning medication such as Aspirin or Warfarin.

Lower Cholesterol
When left untreated, high cholesterol can lead to several serious medical conditions, such as heart disease and stroke. But studies have shown that alfalfa may help reduce cholesterol levels in human patients. The results of one study were published in the May 1987 issue of “Atherosclerosis” and showed that alfalfa significantly reduced the overall cholesterol levels in the test subjects. In fact, the patients’ LDL, or “bad” cholesterol levels were reduced by up to 30 percent by taking alfalfa seeds for a period of eight weeks. Once the study was over, the patients’ cholesterol levels returned to their previous levels, indicating that the alfalfa had been successful in cholesterol reduction.

Barley Grass

Barley GrassBarley grass is a magnate of many nutrients – very well digested by the body and rich in many minerals, vitamins, enzymes and amino acids. Its leaves contain a high amount of chlorophyll – a natural cleanser of the blood that help liver detox, maintains healthy gut flora and provides support to the immune system. It has high anti-oxidant properties and significant levels of Omega 3 essential fatty acids, necessary for healthy cell wall development and brain function.
